Speaking of dramatic platoon splits keeping salaries low, Corey Dickerson is the poster boy for that kind of value.

Against right-handed pitching in his career, Dickerson has produced at an outstanding level, hitting .303/.348/.573 with a .391 wOBA and .271 ISO. Against lefties, that falls to .224/.276/.338 with a .274 wOBA and .114 ISO.

He's up against a righty tonight in Nathan Eovaldi, who also has some crazy splits. Eovaldi has allowed a career .341 wOBA while pitching to a 4.34 xFIP versus left-handed hitters, putting Dickerson in a spot where he can offer elite production at an incredibly low price tag.
