One of the game’s most electrifying arms, Fernandez has bounced back well from his Tommy John surgery and returned to elite form. He’s sporting a 2.77 SIERA to go with a monster 36.7% strikeout rate, which is tops in the game. Taking the bump in Marlins Park, which ranks 29th in home run factor, Fernandez, as usual, offers as much upside as any pitcher on the slate, and the powerful Pirates’ lineup has an implied total of just 3.3 runs.
