Brian McCann is as volatile a hitter as you'll see, but he has the potential for huge games when the stars align like they do today. He's hitting at home in the very lefty-friendly Yankees Stadium against a righty in Jhoulys Chacin who hasn't finished a season with a SIERA below 4.00 since 2010. Chacin also has a 4.50 xFIP against left-handed hitters over his career.

McCann has a career .352 wOBA and .204 ISO against right-handed pitchers (and a .362 wOBA and .231 ISO if we narrow the scope to home games) and is sporting a 35.5 percent hard-hit rate with a 47.3 percent fly ball rate against righties on the season.
