We haven’t seen the usual Paul Goldschmidt domination versus left-handed pitching this season, as he’s “only” posted a .190 ISO split compared to his .264 career mark. However, he’s still getting on base at an insane clip with a .436 wOBA split versus southpaws.

He’ll face Adam Morgan tonight, who has allowed a .238 ISO and .361 wOBA to right-handed batters this season. Part of the reason for opposing hitters’ massive success is Morgan’s 38.3 percent hard hit rate allowed split.

At the first base position, you’re mostly looking for power. However, Goldschmidt also adds stolen bases to his fantasy potential -- after swiping 21 bags a year ago, he’s already totaled eight this season. For $4,500, Goldy is an excellent option tonight.
