Seth Smith is hitting the ball really well this year, posting a very low 11.9% soft-hit rate and 33.8% hard-hit rate, which have helped him produce a .337 wOBA.

As always, Smith has been especially good against right-handed pitching, putting up a .274/.373/.425 slash and a .349 wOBA against righties.

His matchup tonight against right-hander Tyler Wilson makes him even more appealing tonight.

Wilson, in his second pro season, posted a 5.08 SIERA last year and has a 5.00 SIERA this year. He has only managed an 11.2% strikeout rate with a 6.2% walk rate in his young career. Any time Wilson is pitching, he should be on your radar as someone to target.
