Matt Holliday is having a solid season, sporting a .333 wOBA and .218 ISO with a huge 40.3% hard-hit rate. Christian Friedrich, who he'll be up against tonight, is not, with a career-worst 4.58 SIERA.

Friedrich has really struggled against right-handed batters over his career, pitching to a 4.53 xFIP and allowing a .370 wOBA. Holliday, in turn, has been great against left-handed pitching, mashing to the tune of a .294/.398/.499 slash and .387 wOBA.

The Cardinals also have one of the highest implied totals of the day at 4.84, and this is an excellent spot for Holliday.
