Brandon Belt and Miguel Cabrera will likely be the most popular options at first base, while Matt Adams might also get some attention. Carlos Santana will lose ownership to them, likely ending up as just one of the third- or fourth-most popular first base options.

Why You Should Use Him:

Santana will face Kyle Gibson tonight, who has a 4.54 ERA on the year and has really struggled against lefties in his career. Gibson has seen his career xFIP spike from 3.51 against righties to 4.60 against lefties.

Santana, a switch-hitter, has posted better power numbers from the left side of the plate, elevating his slugging percentage and ISO, as well as his hard-hit rate.
