Pitchers to Target

Corey Kluber ($11,100 on FanDuel): The Cleveland Indians' gamble to start Trevor Bauer in Game 1 paid off, and now they get their unquestioned ace on the mound today. Unlike Chris Sale, who showed signs of slowing down in September, Corey Kluber displayed no such ill effects. Excluding his final start in which he threw only 81 pitches, Kluber scored 49 or more FanDuel points in 10 of 11 starts since the start of August, surpassing 60 points on five occasions. On the season, his 2.68 SIERA and 34.1% strikeout rate best everyone else on the slate by a good margin. The New York Yankees are going to have their hands full in this one and could quickly find themselves in an 0-2 hole.
