4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 5/2/18

Stacking can be a controversial topic in many daily fantasy sports, but you can count baseball as a glaring exception. Here, it's universal.

Using multiple players on the same team on a given day presents you with the opportunity to double dip. If one of your players hits an RBI double, there's a good chance he drove in another one of your guys. When you get the points for both the run and the RBI, you'll be climbing the leaderboards fast.

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Cincinnati Reds

Wade Miley has found a big league home with the Milwaukee Brewers, and he will toe the slab for the first time in 2018 Wednesday evening.

The Cincinnati Reds sport a strong implied team total on the main slate, and that's because of a poor run of form by Miley in 2017. Over 157 1/3 innings, Miley posted a 5.07 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), 19.5% strikeout rate, and 12.8% walk rate.

Eugenio Suarez is fresh off the disabled list, and he is in a great spot tonight at $3,600. Suarez slammed southpaws last season with a .383 weighted on-base average (wOBA), 42.9% hard-hit rate, and 39.6% fly-ball rate.

Joey Votto won't have the platoon advantage but does own a .396 wOBA against lefties since the start of the 2017 season.

For a cheap bat in the Reds lineup, peep Adam Duvall ($2,800). Duvall showcased plenty of pop against lefties last year with a .382 wOBA and 42.1% fly-ball rate. Alex Blandino ($2,300), who notched wRC+ marks of at least 137 in the past two years in the minors, could find his way into the bottom of the lineup, as well.
