Pitchers

Kevin Gausman ($11,400)

After producing double-digit strikeouts in his last two starts, Gausman's FanDuel salary has increased by 2.7% to his highest point this season against a Minnesota Twins' offense with a .310 weighted on-base average (wOBA) and a 22.6% K-rate in their last 1899 plate appearances.

In his most recent seven starts, the 32-year old has been in outstanding form through 43.1 innings, producing a 12.1% swinging strike rate, a 2.65 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating (xFIP), and nine or more strikeouts in 57% of these appearances.

With today's top fantasy projection (38.1 expected FanDuel points) and strikeout prediction (7.3), the Blue Jays' ace has a great opportunity to produce another high ceiling outcome against six Minnesota hitters with K-rates between 22.7% and 33.8%.

Shane McClanahan ($10,500)

At his second lowest salary point this season, Tampa Bay's left-hander will take the mound versus a Texas Rangers' lineup with a .349 wOBA and a 18.0% K-rate including four batters with strikeout percentages ranging from 23.7% to 25.2%.

While McClanahan has a difficult matchup on Sunday, the 26-year old still deserves heavy consideration when examining his seasonal metrics including a stellar 3.56 xFIP and a 28.5% K-rate and today's second highest projection at 36.6 expected FanDuel points.

Freddy Peralta ($10,200)

At his highest salary in June after Milwaukee's right-hander recorded nine strikeouts and 36 FanDuel points in his most recent start, Peralta will face an Oakland Athletics' team with a 24.8% K-rate and a 6.7% barrel rate in their last 997 plate appearances in this split.

After recording his worst month this season during May (4.64 xFIP), the 27-year old has regained his form in his last two starts, producing a 3.50 xFIP, a 13.1% swinging strike percentage, and a 26.1% K-rate.

In an appealing matchup against seven Oakland hitters with K-rates over 24.4% and weighted on-base averages under .301, Peralta ranks eighth among today's pitchers with 5.05 strikeouts in 5.34 expected innings.

Stacks

San Diego Padres

Despite yesterday's disappointing three run outing in Coors Field, the Padres are first among today's offenses with an eye-popping 7.06 expected run total against Colorado's veteran Dinelson Lamet.

Through 36.2 innings during his time with the Rockies, the 30-year old has produced below average metrics despite a heavy ground-ball rate (40.4%), accounting for a 4.34 xFIP, a bloated 13.5% walk percentage, and a 45.0% opposing hard hit rate.

With left-handed bats doing the most damage (4.21 xFIP, / .332 wOBA) against Lamet, San Diego stacks should first involve Juan Soto (.391 expected wOBA, 13.0%), Rougned Odor (9.5% barrel rate, .342 expected wOBA), Matt Carpenter (11.6% barrel rate) and Trent Grisham (.346 expected wOBA, 17.3% barrel) while Fernando Tatis Jr. (.378 expected wOBA, 10.6% barrel rate) and Gary Sanchez (.355 expected wOBA, 12.9% barrel rate) can also be mixed in with their power from the right side.

Atlanta Braves

In a matchup against Trevor Williams, Atlanta's red-hot offense ranks second with an appealing 6.07 expected run total against a veteran right-hander with an ugly 5.05 xFIP, a 17.5% K-rate, and a 13.3% opposing barrel rate.

Ideal Atlanta stacks can feature their top left-handed bats including Matt Olson (19.1% barrel rate, .365 expected wOBA), Ozzie Albies (9.0% barrel rate, .270 expected average), and Eddie Rosario (9.8% barrel rate) versus Williams' glaring splits (5.09 xFIP, .336 wOBA) while Ronald Acuna Jr. (.455 expected wOBA), Sean Murphy (17.6% barrel rate, .419 expected wOBA), Austin Riley (.349 expected wOBA, 10.4% barrel rate), and Marcell Ozuna (15.5% barrel rate, .368 expected wOBA) profile well with their immense power and recent batted ball form.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Taijuan Walker will make his 14th start this season versus a Los Angeles Dodgers' offense rated third overall with a 5.4 expected run total.

Since May 17th, the 30-year old as been awful through five starts, recording a 5.72 xFIP, 15.3% K-rate, and a 12.1% walk percentage while his yearly metrics display similar form with a 4.67 xFIP and a horrible 1.83 strikeout to walk ratio.

Due to his heavy ground-ball percentage (48.7%), Los Angeles best fly-ball hitters are top targets on Sunday including Mookie Betts (33.5% fly-ball percentage, 12.1% barrel rate) Freddie Freeman (30.6% fly-ball percentage, 12.4% barrel rate), Max Muncy (16.1% barrel rate, 42.6% fly-ball percentage), Will Smith (34.5% fly-ball percentage, .372 expected wOBA), and J.D. Martinez (18.0% barrel rate, 29.8% fly-ball percentage).
