Yankees' Gio Urshela (elbow) feels good after spring debut

New York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela didn't suffer any setbacks in his Spring Training debut Thursday.

What It Means:

"It felt really good," Urshela said after the game. "I felt 100 percent, trying to get my elbow ready. Now I'm just trying to get that timing back." He underwent surgery after the playoffs to remove a bone spur from his throwing elbow, and it seems as though he'll be ready to go in full force for Opening Day. Should he miss any time or be limited to start the year, Miguel Andujar or Derek Dietrich could be in store for reps at the hot corner.

Our models currently project Urshela for a .273 batting average with a .769 OPS, 18 home runs, 74 RBI and 73 runs across 548 plate appearances this season.
