Bligh Madris on Astros bench Monday
Houston Astros infielder/outfielder Bligh Madris is not in the lineup on Monday against right-hander Jon Gray and the Texas Rangers.
Madris will return to the bench after he went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a strikeout in Sunday's series finale against the Oakland Athletics. Jose Abreu will return to first base and cleanup duty on Monday while Yainer Diaz will shift to designated hitter and bat sixth. Martin Maldonado will catch for Brandon Bielak and bat ninth.
