Jhony Brito confirmed as Yankees new starter Monday
New York Yankees right-handed pitcher Jhony Brito will start on Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Brito will in after Domingo German was scratched due to discomfort in his right armpit. The Yankees recalled Brito from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday and optioned down Ron Marinaccio in a corresponding move. This will be Brito's first big-league start in over a month, but he has made 11 starts and 12 appearances for the Yankees this season.
