Ozzie Albies on Braves bench Thursday night
Atlanta Braves infielder Ozzie Albies is not in the lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Lance Lynn and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Albies returned from a two-week absence for a hamstring injury on Monday and went 5-for-16 with 4 strikeouts in three starts. The Braves are giving Albies a breather in Los Angeles while Nicky Lopez covers second base and Michael Harris moves up to hit second.
numberFire’s models project Lopez ($2,400) for 7.5 and Harris ($3,200) for 11.4 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves' implied total is 4.52 and the game total is 8.5. Lynn has a 5.55 ERA and 4.64 xERA this season, with a 40.4% hard-hit rate, 25.8% strikeout rate, and 7.7% walk rate.
