Josh Lowe on Rays bench Tuesday in Game 1
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Josh Lowe is not in the lineup for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the Texas Rangers.
The left-handed hitting Lowe is sitting against a southpaw, but he should be available off the bench if the Rangers turn to a righty in the bullpen. Manuel Margot is joining Randy Arozarena and Jose Siri in the Rays' outfield for the first game of the playoffs.
numberFire’s models project Margot ($2,400) for 7.3 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays have the second-best implied total today (4.07) and the game total is 7.5. Montgomery posted the lowest strikeout rate this season (21.4%) among Tuesday's listed starters. He also registered a 4.20 xFIP and 40.4% ground-ball rate against right-handed hitters.
