Jose Siri on Rays bench Wednesday in Game 2
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Jose Siri is not in the lineup for Game 2 of the Wild Card Series on Wednesday versus right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and the Texas Rangers.
Siri will sit after going 0-for-3 and committing an error in the field in Game 1. Josh Lowe will join Manuel Margot and Randy Arozarena in the outfield and bat cleanup as the Rays try to avoid elimination.
numberFire’s models project Lowe ($3,600) for 10.1 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays' implied total (4.28) is second-best on the board while the game total is 8.0. Among the eight listed starters today, Eovaldi has the lowest strikeout rate (22.9%) and highest walk rate (8.1%). Over his past six starts since returning from the injured list, he's produced a 5.03 xFIP, 21.4% strikeout rate, and 13.3% walk rate.
