Joan Adon called up, starting Tuesday for Nationals
The Washington Nationals recalled right-handed pitcher Joan Adon from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.
The Nationals called up Adon to replace Josiah Gray (elbow) on the active roster. The 25-year-old right-hander will make his season debut on Tuesday night against the San Francisco Giants.
Adon recorded a 6.45 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over 12 appearances (10 starts) and 51 2/3 innings for the Nationals last season.
