Of course Shaq and Kobe were a part of the best Lakers team. In 2002, they averaged 52.4 points per game between them for a 58-win Lakers squad.

After all was said and done, L.A. had a nERD of 76.6 along with the league's second most-efficient offense. They would go on to dominate the playoffs and win their third straight NBA title.
