In the 2004 draft, the Orlando Magic found a treasure in Dwight Howard. Five years later, Howard delivered a 59-win season and an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Magic would fall to the Celtics, but they managed a 76.9 nERD in the regular season thanks to a 111.4 offensive rating and 103.3 defensive rating -- good enough for the league's third most-efficient defense.
