Not to be outdone by Durant, LeBron James put up a career night playing the Bobcats in Miami roughly a month and a half after KD’s blowup against Golden State. LBJ scored a career-best 61 points and threw in 7 rebounds and 4 assists in this one, but what really set this performance apart from all the rest was his remarkable efficiency.

James shot 22 for 33 from the field, 8 for 10 from long range, and 9 for 12 from the charity stripe, finishing with a true shooting percentage of 79.7% and an offensive rating of 161. There have been plenty of amazing games in James’ 11-year career to date, but this one sits at the very top of the list with a Game Score of 48.8.

The Heat went on to win the game handily and James’ 61 ended up being the second-highest point total scored in a single game by any player in the NBA last season.
