Brandon Miller (ankle) downgraded Tuesday for Hornets
Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller (ankle) is now questionable for Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat.
Miller has been downgraded from probable after participating in the Tuesday morning shootaround. Gordon Hayward (hamstring) is also now questionable after initially being listed as probable. Terry Rozier (groin) is out again, so there could be an abundance of extra minutes for JT Thor, Theo Maledon, Bryce McGowens, and Ish Smith. LaMelo Ball will continue to be the focal point of the Hornets' offense.
numberFire's models project Miller for 33.6 minutes and 25.5 FanDuel points on Tuesday if Hayward is also active. He averaged 24.8 FanDuel points in his last two healthy starts in place of Rozier. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Hornets’ implied total (109.5) and game total (223.5) are both fourth-lowest on today's 10-game slate.
