Trae Young, Oklahoma Sooners

So long as you haven't been living under a sports-proof rock since November, you've probably heard of Oklahoma's Trae Young. He's the closest thing we've seen to the college version of Steph Curry, and he's a nightly highlight-maker on ESPN. But more importantly, he's really good at playing the game of basketball.

Young has had his fair share of struggles after exploding on to the scene back in the first three months of the year. In eight February games, he shot 36.4% from the floor, 25% three and averaged just 21.9 points per game. Outside of that, there's no denying the type of production the freshman's brought on a nightly basis.

He's shooting 30% through two games in March, but that's dropped him back down into realistic shooting territory for the year. All in all, his NCAA-leading 27.4 points and 8.7 assists are unheard of for such a young, inexperienced player. And if you consider the upside -- nine games of 30-plus points -- he could go off at any time against any team.

As a 10 seed, the Sooners take on 7 seed Rhode Island in what will be the opener for the Round of 64. It won't be long until we see which Young we're going to get in the ultimate national spotlight.
