Tony Pollard (thigh) 'in doubt' Thursday for Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) "is very much in doubt" for Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Pollard is listed as questionable with a thigh injury, but it sounds like he's actually closer to doubtful. The Cowboys will see how Pollard looks in his pregame workout before making an official decision. Ezekiel Elliott should see a heavy workload if Pollard is ruled out, with Malik Davis mixing in as well.
Per numberFire's NFL Heat Map, the Cowboys are 12.5-point favorites over the Titans, setting up a favorable game script for Zeke and Davis to rack up touches. However, the Titans have the No. 9 run defense in our adjusted team rankings for the season, compared to the No. 26 pass defense, offering a funnel for the passing game.
