Bears' D.J. Moore building chemistry with Justin Fields
The Athletic's Kevin Fishbain called the growing chemistry between new Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore and quarterback Justin Fields "the best part of the offense this spring."
The Bears acquired Moore from the Carolina Panthers in the same deal that netted Carolina their quarterback of the future, Bryce Young. Moore will be immediately expected to slot in as Chicago's WR1 for the 2023 season, and early reports from offseason camps have indicated that the two former first-round picks are establishing an electric connection on the offense. His addition to the offense will hopefully bring out Fields' best season yet as the Bears' starter.
Moore has been a productive receiver since he first stepped onto an NFL field as a rookie, and has posted over 1,100 yards in 3 of his 5 seasons so far. He still managed to compile almost 900 receiving yards in Carolina's decimated offense lasts season, and could well reach 1,100 receiving yards again as a member of the Bears this season.
