D'Andre Swift signs 3-year deal with Bears
The Chicago Bears and running back D'Andre Swift agreed to terms on a three-year, $24 million deal on Monday.
Swift is signing with the Bears after recording a career-best campaign in his one-season stay with the Philadelphia Eagles. He ran the ball 229 times for 1,049 yards and drew 49 targets, but Swift might have more competition for touches in Chicago, with 2023 fourth-round pick Roschon Johnson and Khalil Herbert both still under contract.
Swift averaged 11.1 FanDuel points in 16 games for the Eagles last season, with 229 carries, 1,049 rushing yards, 5 touchdowns, 39 catches (49 targets), 214 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown. Among the 23 backs with at least 200 carries, Swift was No. 9 in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry.
