Ravens' Rashod Bateman (foot) opens camp on PUP list
The Baltimore Ravens placed wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) on the PUP list to open training camp.
Bateman missed the opening day of Ravens camp while attending to the foot injury that cut short his 2022 campaign, and it now looks like the former first round pick could miss the opening weeks of training camp as he continues his recovery. His absence could open a pathway to significant first-team reps for new first-round pick Zay Flowers in the early weeks of camp.
Bateman was an integral part of Baltimore's passing offense before his injury last season, and has unfortunately required multiple surgeries throughout his recovery process. He'll return to a much more crowded Ravens receiver depth chart than the one he left, though could still lead the team's wideouts in fantasy points if things swing his way. He is numberFire's WR41 heading into Week 1.
