Panthers name Bryce Young their starting quarterback
According to head coach Frank Reich, Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has been named their starter.
Today's announcement formally labeled Carolina's first overall pick their top signal caller before preseason games even started. Expect the Panthers' rookie to carry QB2 upside in redraft formats with some ability to scramble and create plays with his legs. According to Fantasy Football Calculator in 12-team super flex leagues, Young's current average draft position currently stands in the 11th round.
Young is currently numberFire's QB23 with season-long projection includes 350.4 completions for 24.2 touchdowns and 3,635.5 yards and 62.5 rushing attempts for 284.4 yards and 1.9 touchdowns.
