Broncos' Marvin Mims (hamstring) returns to training camp Monday
Denver Broncos rookie receiver Marvin Mims (hamstring) returned to training camp practices Monday, Troy Renck of Denver7 reports.
The Broncos traded up in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft to select Mims, a former Sooners wideout with an exciting production profile. The explosive rookie missed a few training camp practices with a hamstring injury, but is back on the field now to compete for a spot in the starting lineup behind Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton following the lower leg injury to teammate Tim Patrick.
While Jeudy has seemingly taken a lead in Denver's offense this offseason, the second receiver spot behind him still seems up for grabs. Mims averaged over 20 yards per reception in his final two seasons at OU and could mesh well with quarterback Russell Wilson, capping off his collegiate career with 54 receptions, 1,083 yards, and 6 touchdowns as a junior.
