Broncos' Javonte Williams (knee) will play in next preseason game
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton told media members that running back Javonte Williams (knee) will play in the team's Saturday night game.
The Broncos will take on the 49ers in this weekend's preseason tilt, and the team is evidently planning to have Williams take carries in the affair. There were offseason concerns about Williams' availability for the year, but he seems on track to suit up in Week 1.
Williams is currently projected to finish as the RB27 in fantasy season, but could vault up the rankings with a clean bill of health. He is currently expected to split work with Samaje Perine this season, though the split of their work may depend on Williams' health.
