Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh) inactive in Week 1 for Atlanta
Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson will not play Sunday in the team's Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Patterson is a somewhat surprise inactive, as there weren't many reports he was in danger of sitting Sunday. The Falcons will be without their Swiss-Army knife, but they'll be covered from a backfield perspective - Top-10 pick Bijan Robinson and 1,000-yard rusher Tyler Allgeier should be more than enough to help out Desmond Ridder.
Our models project Patterson for 86.8 rushing yards, 0.7 rushing touchdowns, 17.4 receiving yards, 0.1 receiving touchdowns and 16.1 FanDuel points.
