Steelers release wide receiver Allen Robinson on Friday
The Pittsburgh Steelers have released wide receiver Allen Robinson on Friday.
After playing just one season with Pittsburgh, Robinson will become a free agent while the Steelers will save around $10 million in cap space with his release. Expect the veteran to try and find a slot role with another team after he played inside on 69.1% of his snaps last season.
On 47 targets in 2023, Robinson ranked 114th among his position with a 52.0 Pro Football Focus rating while producing 34 receptions for 280 yards and 0.70 yards per route run.
