Christian Watson (hamstring) uncertain for Packers in Week 2
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) is non-commital on his status for Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Watson sat out Sunday's 38-20 win over the Chicago Bears with a hamstring injury. "Obviously a lot better chance than last week, but I'm just taking it day by day and seeing where I'm at," Watson said about his chances of playing in Week 2. Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed will be able to benefit again if Watson misses the second game of the season, but the Packers went with a heavy wide receiver rotation that also included Dontayvion Wicks, Malik Heath, and Samori Toure.
Doubs and Jayden Reed tied to lead the Packers with 5 targets each in Week 1 while Aaron Jones and Luke Musgrave were right behind with 4 targets apiece. Doubs and Reed both ran 20 routes, followed by Wicks (19) and Toure (12). Luke Musgrave led the team with 24 routes run on 26 offensive snaps.
