Rams to leave Cam Akers (healthy) off Week 2 lineup
The Los Angeles Rams are leaving running back Cam Akers (healthy) off of their lineup for Week 2's game against the San Francisco 49ers.
It appears that Akers and the Rams are at odds again for the second time in as many seasons. The former second-round back spent multiple games away from his team last season as the two sides worked through some behind-the-scenes issues, but it looks like old tensions have risen up again. With Akers sidelined, the Rams could utilize Kyren Williams as an every-down player.
Williams could be queued up for a strong Week 2 performance if the Rams can overcome San Francisco's tough defense. We currently have Williams projected to score 7.5 fantasy points.
