Allen Robinson (ankle) returns to Steelers practice Thursday
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday.
Robinson turned in a limited session after sitting out Wednesday with an ankle injury. The veteran wideout should be able to play in Week 4 against the Houston Texans, but even with Diontae Johnson (hamstring) sidelined the past two games, Robinson only had 6 catches on 7 targets for 36 yards.
numberFire's models project Robinson for 4.5 targets, 2.8 receptions, and 29.4 yards in Week 4. The Texans have the No. 22 adjusted pass defense in the NFL, according to numberFire’s metrics.
