Jonnu Smith (ankle) upgraded Thursday for Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Jonnu Smith (ankle) was a full participant at Thursday's practice for Week 6 against the Washington Commanders.
Smith was upgraded from a limited session on Wednesday. After only running four routes in the opener, Smith has drawn 6-8 targets in four straight games while averaging 5.3 catches and 61.5 yards. He will have a tougher matchup in Week 6 versus a Commanders team that has been locking down tight ends this season.
Smith ($5,100) is the TE22 in numberFire's Week 6 rankings and our models project him for 4.9 FanDuel points, with 3.9 targets, 2.5 receptions, and 25.1 yards. The Commanders are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points and fourth-fewest yards per game to tight ends this season.
