Trevor Lawrence (knee) upgraded Tuesday for Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (knee) was a limited participant at practice on Tuesday.
Lawrence was upgraded after the Jaguars listed him as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report for Thursday's Week 7 game against the New Orleans Saints. C.J. Beathard took most of the first-team reps at practice on Tuesday, but the Jaguars are reportedly hopeful Lawrence will be able to play. Beathard would be a sharp downgrade for every receiver and tight end on offense.
Among the 32 quarterbacks with at least 100 attempts this season, Lawrence is 17th in Passing Net Expected Points per attempt (0.01). He's averaging 15.2 FanDuel points per game and hasn't scored more than 18.7 all season. The Saints are allowing the seventh-fewest FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks this season and they have the sixth-ranked adjusted pass defense in the NFL, according to numberFire’s metrics.
