Bills' Dawson Knox (wrist) officially lands on injured reserve

The Buffalo Bills have placed tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) on the injured reserve ahead of the team's Week 8 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football.

What It Means:

Knox has been dealing with a wrist injury over the past few weeks and will unfortunately now miss at least the next four games for the Bills on the injured reserve. He has been playing a significant role in the team's offense alongside rookie teammate Dalton Kincaid, averaging 4 targets per game through the first 7 games of the season.

With Knox on the injured reserve, Kincaid (the team's first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft) could step into a featured role in the team's offense. The rookie had his biggest game of the season in Week 7 with Knox limited, catching all 8 of his targets for 75 yards against the New England Patriots. Our models now project him for 7.7 fantasy points against the Bucs on Thursday Night Football.
