Mac Jones to start for Pats in Week 12; Bailey Zappe to split snaps '50/50'
The New England Patriots will start Mac Jones at quarterback for their Week 12 game against the New York Giants, but Bailey Zappe is expected to work in for a 50/50 split.
The Patriots eventually landed on Jones as the starter (as expected), but it sounds like the flailing former champs are now going to alternate drives between Jones and Bailey Zappe. Neither will have much to offer to fantasy managers this week, but expect the Pats to lean heavily on their ground game as they hide their weak quarterbacks.
If there's any fantasy value to be had from the Patriots today, it will likely come from running back Rhamondre Stevenson. Stevenson has a $6,800 salary on FanDuel and is projected for 13.3 fantasy points, with 65.3 rushing yards, 22.4 receiving yards, and 0.5 touchdowns.
