Steelers' Kenny Pickett expected to target George Pickens more often from Week 12 onward
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to target wide receiver George Pickens more often after firing offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
Rapoport mentioned that the Steelers offense is expected to focus on "the players, not the plays" going forward, specifically name dropping George Pickens as a potential beneficiary in the receiving game and Jaylen Warren as a player to feature in the running game. The Steelers offense has fallen flat on its face this season, but hopefully the change at offensive coordinator can help breathe some life into things.
Our models project Pickens, who has a $6,500 salary on FanDuel, to score 8.9 fantasy points against the Bengals, with 3.5 catches for 54.9 yards and 0.2 touchdowns. The talented receiver could benefit from the additional looks as well as from a nice matchup against the Bengals' banged up defense.
