Justin Jefferson (hamstring) expected back after Vikings bye
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) will not be activated from injured reserve before Monday night's Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Jefferson is "very close" to returning, per Pelissero, but the Vikings will play it safe and hold him out through their Week 13 bye. Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, and K.J. Osborn should draw most of the targets in a plus matchup on Monday night.
The Bears have the worst pass defense in the league this season, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics. Our models project Hockenson for 8.9 targets and Addison for 8.4 targets, followed by Osborn at 5.2 targets.
