Schefter: New York's Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) 'likely to be medically cleared" this week
According to Adam Schefter, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is "likely to be medically cleared to play" this week.
After receiving clearance to practice, Rodgers looks he is ready for the next step towards a return with medical clearance to play.
While it is unknown if Rodgers will actually play in another game with the Jets fading from playoff contention, New York will have until next Wednesday to decide if Rodgers should be activated from the injured reserve or he will be ineligible to play again this season.
