Keenan Allen (heel) ruled out again Week 16 for Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (heel) has been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night.
Allen has been unable to practice or play since injuring his heel in Week 14 versus the Denver Broncos. Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer, Alex Erickson, and Jalen Guyton will handle the receiver routes again for the Chargers on Saturday. Palmer led the group with 4 catches on 4 targets for 113 yards and a touchdown with Allen sidelined last week.
The Bills are allowing the 10th-fewest FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season and their pass defense is No. 9 in numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings.
