Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ribs) was a limited practice participant on Thursday for Week 18 against the Carolina Panthers.
What It Means:
Mayfield logged a limited session after he was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate. He took all of the third-down reps on Thursday and looked “functional” throwing the ball, according to Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales. It would be a big surprise if Mayfield doesn't suit up on Sunday, but the ribs injury could potentially impact his effectiveness.
