The Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs aren’t on the main slate, so everyone will have to look elsewhere for offense. That’s where the Los Angeles Dodgers come in.

Los Angeles has a nice 4.59 implied total for their road matchup against Philadelphia Phillies’ righty Jerad Eickhoff. Joc Pederson has absolutely mashed versus right-handers this year, posting a .390 wOBA with a 39.3% hard-hit rate and 41.7% fly-ball rate.

Pederson has really turned it on in the second half. After putting up a 46.2% hard-hit rate in July, he’s following it up with a 43.3% hard-hit rate this month. Moving him from Dodger Stadium to Citizens Bank Park, which checks in first in home run factor, isn’t fair.

Eickhoff is having a solid first full year in Philadelphia, but he’s had a tough time with left-handed hitters. Lefties have put up a .345 wOBA against him while striking out just 16.6% of the time.
