At 42, Ichiro Suzuki has had something of a resurgence from the plate. His .292 batting average, .362 on-base percentage and .321 wOBA are all his best marks in the past six seasons.

Today's matchup with Trevor Bauer should allow him to continue to roll.

Bauer's 3.73 ERA may appear to be an improvement from past seasons, but that isn't the case. His 4.26 SIERA is his worst mark since his four-game 2013 campaign, and his 20.8% strikeout rate is his lowest in that span. Bauer is allowing a huge 38.5% hard-hit rate this year to left-handed hitters, and he gives Ichiro some nice upside in this one.
