Injuries have limited Troy Tulowitzki to 78 plate appearances this season, so we don't have a big sample-size from which to draw, but in general, his production has been disappointing over the past couple years, with a .323 wOBA since the beginning of the 2016 season. He does have a reasonable 33.5% hard-hit rate and 40.0% fly-ball rate in that time, and with only a .270 BABIP (compared to a .315 career-average), there's some room for optimism that his production may pick up.

Even with that shaky production, he's in a good spot today, what with the Jays' high implied total and plus matchup against CC Sabathia that I outlined for Martin. Tulo makes a cost-effective way to get some high-upside exposure to the Toronto offense.
