For as good as Tampa's matchup is, the New York Yankees own Thursday's highest implied total, with a 5.56 mark against righty Ariel Jurado and the Texas Rangers.

Jurado has only made three Major League starts, but his 5.35 SIERA and 5.11 xFIP don't inspire much confidence. He skipped right past the Triple-A level, despite the fact that he only managed a 4.23 xFIP over 16 Double-A starts in 2018 and a 4.00 xFIP across 27 starts at that level last year.

Greg Bird is one of the few cheap ways to get exposure to this offense tonight, and while he hasn't been overly productive this season, his 43.0% hard-hit rate, 52.5% fly-ball rate and 12.4% soft-hit rate against right-handed pitching leave him offering no shortage of upside against Jurado.
