Joey Votto, 1B, Cincinnati Reds

FanDuel Price: $3,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Brandon Belt will be chalky if he suits up tonight at Coors Field. If not, expect the David Ortiz train to continue to be full-steam ahead after another home run last night. Miguel Cabrera has also remained hot, while Paul Goldschmidt finds himself in an excellent matchup tonight. It's very unlikely that getting Joey Votto into lineups is a high priority for daily fantasy players.

Why You Should Use Him:

Votto is still struggling his way through the 2016 season, despite a ridiculous 45.9 percent hard-hit rate. His .257 BABIP is still nearly 100 points below his career average, and some positive regression has to be coming at some point.

Tonight's matchup with right-hander Zach Davies might be just what Votto needs to see the impending regression actualized. Opposing hitters have teed off on Davies so far this season, posting a 41 percent hard-hit rate and launching five homers in seven starts. His ERA on the season sits at a not-so-great 5.75 mark, which has to have the Reds licking their chops.

Votto has hit righties much better throughout his career, and his 48.1 percent hard-hit rate against them in 2016 is just silly. He should thrive against a weak righty at Miller Park, a notorious hitter's park. Votto has a career .337 batting average and .601 slugging percentage at Miller Park. He has more homers at Miller Park than any stadium other than his home park.

Votto has big upside, and his price makes him an excellent target in all formats tonight.
