Tommy Joseph, 1B, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $2,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Most don't know who Tommy Joseph is, so outside of those who are scraping the bottom of the pricing barrel and notice a potential cleanup hitter at minimum price, he will go overlooked today.

Why You Should Use Him:

Most won't realize it, because four pinch-hit appearances has dragged his average down, but Joseph has averaged 10.98 FanDuel points in games he has started this season. He's also been hitting fourth or fifth in the lineup lately with Ryan Howard out of the lineup. With Howard riding the pine for the foreseeable future, Joseph should continue to get starts in the heart of the order to show Philadelphia what they have in the young prospect.

For a closer look at the power-hitting first baseman, read this. It remains to be seen how his game will translate to the Major League level, but with three homers and a prominent spot in the lineup already, he's worth a look at this price. When you consider his opponent today, the only thing keeping him from being a must-play is the lack of expensive pitchers to pay up for and the awesome first base options available.

With less need for value plays on today's slate, Joseph isn't quite as awesome of a play as he should be at this price, but he is certainly worth a look if you want to punt the position.
