Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $4,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Edwin Encarnacion will likely be the chalk at first base in another advantageous matchup at Coors Field, especially following a two home run game last night. With his game taking place at Petco, Chris Davis isn't likely to compare to Encarnacion in terms of ownership, despite excellent recent play.

Why You Should Use Him:

Davis has homered in back to back games now, pushing his June total to eight. The slugger who led the league in long balls last season is notoriously streaky, and tonight's matchup against Erik Johnson could certainly be what keeps his recent hot streak going.

Johnson, a righty, has an 8.54 ERA this season and a 9.82 ERA in three starts as a member of the San Diego Padres. In his career, he has pitched 56 innings against lefties and 56.2 innings against righties, with very uneven results. His career xFIP jumps from 4.14 against righties to 5.97 against lefties.

Crush Davis, a lefty, has some fun splits of his own. 37 of his home runs came against right-handed pitching last season, which would have matched David Ortiz for the 12th-most homers in the league. That's right, he hit more homers against just right-handed pitching than all but 12 players did for the entire season. In his career, he has a .527 slugging percentage, .267 ISO, and 38.9 percent hard-hit rate against right-handed pitchers -- all of which are marked improvements from his numbers against lefties.

Johnson has absolutely no chance of containing Davis, or Baltimore's offense as a whole tomorrow. If you are comfortable fading Encarnacion at Coors, Crush Davis offers similar upside at a lower price and ownership percentage.
